Why we design “by appointment”

We are a two-person shop!

Whoever designs it, frames it! If we aren’t up front at the design counter, than we’re in the workshop, cutting, sanding, gluing, stitching, painting… or a variety of other detailed and time-sensitive tasks! Appointments help us plan our production and design time accordingly.

Good design takes time!

Even simple designs require time. Working “by appointment” allows for you to take the time you need to make thoughtful selections. We have thousands of options to explore and it’s impossible to serve more than one client at once!

Limiting orders allows for the highest quality of work!

We restrict the number of appointments we take, and the number of pieces that we design, on a given day. Balancing the number of orders we have allows us the time to produce carefully crafted pieces with the level of detail and care our shop is known.
